Conventional Carbon Blacks & Application

Hose manufacturers typically use:
N550/N660 type semi-reinforcing blacks for EPDM coolant hoses and general hoses
N772 and thermal blacks (N990-type) where flexibility and low heat build-up are needed
Conductive blacks for fuel and ATEX-exposed hoses

DURONIX® A low-structure, ultra-clean carbon black series designed to improve flow, dispersion and surface quality. It supports smooth processing and reduced defects in films, molded parts, hoses, seals and cable compounds.
DURONIX®T A thermal-type carbon black series with very low structure, developed for flexibility, low heat build-up and minimal viscosity impact. Used where softness, fatigue resistance and processing ease are more critical than reinforcement.
VELCROX® A conductive furnace carbon black series designed for antistatic and conductive polymer and elastomer systems. It enables conductivity at lower loadings while preserving flow, flexibility and mechanical performance across plastics and rubber applications.
